The strength of research evidence supporting the field of
clinical hypnosis has been historically obscured by stage hypnosis and
pseudo-scientific theories. The Register requires members to practice hypno-psychotherapy based on
credible research evidence and mainstream psychological
theories.

Diploma Award

| The Register have designed a new professional diploma award in evidence-based
hypnosis and psychotherapy. This qualification is
part-mapped against the official National Occupational Standards (NOS) for Hypnotherapy. As part of this process, the UK College has now been approved as an
official training centre registered with NCFE, a leading Government-recognised awarding body.
